Title: What would be good minimum requirements?
Post by: Sammich on September 15, 2007, 03:27:48 PM
I is downloading Digital Paint, and I was wondering.
Is it still playable without sound? My computer was virus'd recently and my soundcard exploded.

You can play without sound, as i did for about 4 months. It's a hassle though, especially when you use a voice recon program such as vent.

onboard soundcard should work...

i'm guessing minimum requirement would be a Pentium 2... whatever the requirement was for quake 2 should the adequate for dp.

Okay thanks.
I'm about 17 MBs left in the download and I wanted to make sure so that I wouldn't have to get rid of it 30 seconds after I install it.

I'd go P3 just to be safe. (Ive got DP running on a P2, at ~30fps, 320x240)

haha, of course a faster computer would help... i had a p2 but threw it out so, can't really test it. I think the p2 will probably lag a bit but you're right to be safe, p3 is better :)

Do you have dial-up?
