Otherwise be quiet, play in game with out complaints and dont you aliases to hide you devieant actions.
For example:
1. If you were shot. Be respectful.
2. If due to your intellengence ( If you can not be respectfull then be quiet while playing. (There is a forum for complaints and that forum is not ingame or IRC.) It is here

Well since you asked for it:
[GT]Loial21, maybe you should stop getting drunk, playing DP then enticing people that you don't like. I think that every time I have connected to your pub server in the last four weeks when you were present I was bothered constantly by you over the most ridiculous and unimportant things. Whenever [Fang]WarWulf is there you two constantly (verbally) double team me to the point where I have to put both of you on ignore. Get off your power trip and stop talking incoherently to [20ID] members and maybe you'll find that the experience is much more pleasant for everyone. None of my members can step foot in your servers without constant abuse and/or a quick temp ban. I think if we were such a problem, we would be iptables banned like your other enemies; but you can't help yourselves but to temp ban us, viewgib us to ruin our streaks or make our time on your servers miserable.
No one needs to submit any screenshots or demos to understand how bad most of you are at being respectable admins. We appreciate the service that GT provides, but we do not appreciate how we are treated and the tactics that you use to draw us out. If you guys keep it up, one day you'll find that your servers are nothing more than the place that the Brazillian players go to hang out at. last night i joined a GT pub where lioal was at under the name newbie. im guessing he ran an ip check and found out it was me. as soon as he found out he started saying excrement along the lines of COLA i know its you why dont you use your real name chicken excrement. and other things. and while he was having his drunken rant. and i never said anything from the time i joined the server till when i left.

um.. no I didnt(i was BuB). i just joined and lioal and a couple others started ranting and talking excrement to me. so naturally i did it back. then i got temp banned. came back under merryLovER and got a kick warning then when i clearly changed my name to just LoVER and showed him(he was too busy counting down to kick me i guess) i was still kicked. thats when i joined as newbie(my first post) because i just felt like playing without being harassed but i guess i still couldnt do that.

Although once having joined as "newbie" you said nothing from the time you entered till the time you left, you still previously joined and enjoyed the smack talking fest along with the others.

what i meant from the time i joined with the name newbie till the time i left the server.

um.. where did you get that? all i said was i rejoined under a diff name just to play and still got harassed. the 2 other times i joined under diff names after BuB i had no intention to keep talking excrement. i just wanted to play without being bothered but i guess it was too much trouble.

Is it normal for a reply like Cola's in North America? In the UK for one this would just not be tolerated. This is not a flame, I just want to understand the American view.

Cola, stick to actual facts and stop flaming. Unless you can provide proof that "ANYONE" in GT does such things you need to shut your mouth.
Directly attacking the entire clan for the alleged actions of one or 2 members or admins of the clan is NOT deserving of your personal attacks. The thread was created by Loial and is about LOIAL. It should not have been started to begin with because it's simply an invite for more flaming.
I've said this before and I'll say it again.... DEMO DEMO DEMO and if there is indeed "abuse" hopefully the perpetrator will be dealt with accordingly.

"WE PAY FOR THE SERVERS SO WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO KICK ANYONE WITHOUT EXPLANATION BLAH BLAH BLAH" trust me if i did demo and screenshot everytime i joined a GT pub id have atleast a 2 hour movie of GT admins harassing and/or kicking people without warning. but without "proof" you can believe what you want. this thread was started by lioal who i most certainly believe was drunk at the time of the incidents and creation of this thread. shut my mouth?!?!?! LOlolOlolol chill out there old timer. watch who you talk to with disrespect. because you know that you have kicked people out of those servers without reason or warning. deny it all you want without your "proof" but you know just as well as i do that its true. and i will continue to join pubs(whenever that may be) under an alias because i know as a result of this thread i will be kicked without warning if i was to join up under my real name.

same. Loial has been awesome to me and Sharon and the rest of the clan has never started flaming at me or anything, they just say hi and we play.

Jesse, in my defense, you do understand I have no clue how to viewgib, right? In fact I learned this meaning first hand, from playing on e33rt?
Not pointing fingers but look in the mirror....my first view gib was on those servers.....that is a digression....lets move on....
I kick players for offensive lang / idle / spam chat / harsh unwarranted anti-newb rhetoric / offensive names.
When I am present. I wish there was a admin script that would be agreeable by all interested partys and that this script would kick live.
Until then when I am present... despite my state ......i will use general logic with consideration to new players and public play with complaints and name calling.

just because YOU choose to use ONE name doesnt mean everyone MUST do the same. everyone(mostly) uses/used an alias at least once in their FPS/gaming life. there is no harm in wanting to be left alone when joining a pub. which is why most people choose to alias. it is a choice that we as DP americans have. alias = life.

I know nothing of the abuse, it doesn't concern me, and I don't have an opinion on it, but I would like to comment on this a bit. I've run several forums, with my current largest one having 40k plus members and 1,260,000 plus posts. To allow names concerning race is the first step to giving the impression that talking freely about it is acceptable. When people start seeing mentions of race so often, they will become desensitized to it. It becomes tolerable. Eventually, this can easily lead to an assortment of trouble with racism. Keeping a community from straying off into unfriendly territory is harder than just setting down hard rules. You have to think ahead when managing a group of people; you need to know if giving an OK to something will eventually lead to something you didn't want. It's all a matter of predicting human psychology in the long term.

yeah like i said, I'm not going to use one name, i don't need to, and i won't. there's a reason they give you more than one name in the dplogin. not to mention the pub servers don't even enforce you to use your login name. so continue being a schmuck and getting trashed while you pub at night putting on horrid maps on a daily basis, and banning people for using aliases.

An alias is another name for yourself. An A.K.A. kind of thing.

on certain public servers you can. but on match servers you must use a registered(by that i mean yours) name.

Again I ask that you act your age and use one name. There is no real need to use and alias unless someone is harassing you. If that is the case:
1. Ignore
2. Record
3. Report
There are players who have earned perm bans for less.
The fact is more people use aliases to harass then they do for legitimate reasons (if there are any, i have yet to see an example of one)
As for doing what you want, yeah you can. But on a server you host.
I point to more bad than good is done with aliases.
In summation if you are older than 12, grow up choose and identity and stop being so selfish.

how is not wanting to use your real name to pub selfish? thats just dumb. i will continue to alias when i pub because that is what i like to do. how about you grow up and leave us alias'ers alone? if we cause a ruckus ban us. but banning us for joining a server under an alias and not saying anything is just down right wrong. i also didnt know maturity was required to play this game. lets give out bans for people under the age of 14 because they are immature. there are times to be serious and there are times to play around. serious people die lonely.

Well I was idling a GT Pub just now while I was on the forums. I ALT + TAB back in and about 2 seconds after that I get temp banned. And it wasn't just me to get temp banned it was multiple people (see screenshot). I am assuming it was Loial since Sharon was idle.

as its turning out your clans behavior is not so much the problem, but rather me protecting the servers from racist and poor language abusers. For that I apologize for any direct quotes that you found offensive to your clan as a whole. How ever with that said no matter what you say proof is asked for not required and if you have a complaint. Lodge it. I am human. So are you booby. The problem was I had no way to tell who was who. Ignorance is a bad and people got the bad end of other people's ignorance if you catch my drift.
But now that I can tell who is who. I assure you and your clan your will not be talked about less for being excretory openings but will be less harassed by my self for using aliases if they continue to act in a manor of which I have observed the past several days. I have yet to catch one of you slipping. Well other than what BOB got kicked for on 9/28 and even then I did not know it was him or Taco till Pierce's condump post. Like you said if your clan was that big of a hassle that would have been done across the board.
The problem going forward will be:
1. People not logging in acting with impunity.

Loial, tell the server-owner to do that setting in manner to avoid conflicts like this if you're really against conflicts. As Kilo mentioned this, you just went by "I dont care. It's the serverowners thing.".
That setting enabled on your server would make it redundant to kick idles and less conflicts would arise so you are the one not caring about conflicts with others.
SO, loial, you are causing conflicts mostly by yourself.
You SAY (!) you appreciate constructive input for a more peaceful situation. You actually DON'T.

My point of view. Sharon and Loial always seem polite to me. Maybe I havent seen the darkside. I do know that if I go idle to smoke and let them know they will not kick me for idling. Both are very nice. Snipen on the other hand is just snipen. I've been admin killed by him for numerous reasons that are justified in his own mind. His server his rules. I just keep my trap shut and find a new server. Thnx for having texas servers.

I don't mind being admin killed if it's a way to release your frustration. Furthermore nothing was happening when he was winning (Snipen on pbcup), but as soon it turned otherwise i got temp baned. Haven't said a word to him all the way, I mean i didn't provoked him, was just killing him. I go by this one. If one doesn't shows respect to me, he will not get it back either. Yes, you pay for the server, you can kick, ban, kill whoever you wanna. If you think I was hacking you could demoed me, but to do it this way. Makes me really said. This has nothing to do with Loial here, but Snipen. You wanted evidence? Here it is.
On first one, Snipen thought I am hacking, he kicked me, I went back, he kicked me again.
On the second one I went back in to ask him why did he kicked me, no response, killed him again, he temp baned me.
What makes me really sad is the thing that I had utmost respect for GT leadership, now it has changed.

I wanna just state 1 more point. I play alot on GT so when we match against american I wouldn't be in disadvantage because of my ping. Hence, I'm ussed to the ping issues and normally it doesn't bother me when playing on americans server, only the lag, when it occures, is bothering. That's all in my defence.
But Snipen, to kick me without reason and saying you don't need a proof to know when someone is hacking, is just (trying to find the right word without offending individual) silly.

It's not an official rule at all, I'm pretty sure Xbain listed it in one of his hueg posts about clans, and I think it's just common sense. IRC is a place for clans. ;)

I got kicked for not logging in, although everyone else wasn't logged in. Except maybe the fact that i was 60-10 might of had something to do with it.
ViciouZ, try using darkness name as "darkness" and see what happens, I bet you find it pretty hard to fake him.

Anyone wonder why Xeno commented about my question. That is because I was talking to him, at which time I saw darkness. This was close to the 20th time in the week he was kicked or temp banned. I do not have control to hard ban his IP range. Looks like that is our next step.
Bob you are correct. You were kicked for not setting a good example. Login next time please. Please let us know what fun name you were using.

It is silly isn't! Not playing logged in when you have a login and use it frequently. I can't see how that benefits the game or the report of its players.
As for the Admin responsibility point; I have only 258 ops.
In the intrest of growth and to accommodate as many players new and or old, we see that the login system should be embraced and enforced by all legitimate clan leaders and its players, developers, board nominees and deemed secure with out argument. I agree with this logic.
As for players 'acting up' they will be disciplined. Though the word disciplined implies that we hope to teach proper behavior. We all know there are some people you just cant reach. What we have is a failure to communicate properly or honestly. (-Enfriar mano Lucas)

Sure in theory, but that's not the route he wants to go. sv_login 1 with moderation seems to be working.
Loial21 made it quite clear he only has ops (I think it was 258), second, GT would lose a large number of players, and as stated above North American players un-registered newbies (people demoing the game) would be restricted to one other server.

I think you forgot to mention which clan you're in these days. Either way, I'm glad to see you joined GT's "SNIPEN PAYS FOR HIMSELF AND FRIENDS TO PREY ON OTHERS AS THEY PLAY ON THEIR SERVERS" parade. I don't think you even get server login yet? Keep it up, after a few months of playing non-stop pub you'll be sure to get it so that I can play spawninabox, oddjob and other very poor maps with 20+ people on a server without having to wait for Loial21 or Sharon to get there. Maybe we'll get to hang out on Vent sometime...

I'm going to continue playing pub without logging in because login is a joke. Using different names has never been a problem until insecure people like loial who WERE ALWAYS TERRIBLE AT THIS GAME get owned on a PUBLIC server by someone with a stupid name. If I were to go back and read the thread on which people voted for the login system in why I'm sure I'll find loial and a bunch of other random newbies voting for it for that exact reason.
I personally don't care if I'm kicked for not logging in, there is no example needed to be set when I'm the only in there not saying "LOL 1v1 bundle of twigs? I OWN YOU!!!!!!!!". I just like to show my support against terrible admins who shouldn't even be running a server in the first place.
Also you should be slapped for talking about "being an example", someone who not only has control of a server with a 32 player limit, but changes map that actually have some sort of support for that amount of players to maps like arm, and blitz. You're a disgrace to this community and I'll be the only one who actually will tell this to your face most likely.

And y00tz what are you talking about when you say protecting our names and reputations? If someone tries to do /name darkness, they will get kicked. You can't use a name if someone else has it registered.

Perhaps you should enforce the rules that are stated on the server or it's settings, instead of working off of your own personal ideals? If you don't have the power/authority to change a rule or setting, don't mess with it whether or not you believe in it.

I've already taken enough scrutiny, criticism, flaming, death threats (lol), had the database and website taken hostage, etc.

I have iron fisted what is right. I modeled my maps to the ones used in the old e33rt map listing. I guess i have not spent countless hours hours either or countless money supporting a platform for you to play on. You are welcome.

Flame sometimes Loial does do a bit of an overkill so to speak. Like one day me and DT were idling in a pub and we got tempbanned when the server wasn't even full. There were like 10 people there and that's when GT servers were 32 player servers.

The second one is reasonable only because a kick means get out, no matter how unreasonable the kick. The first one is standard loial, to be honest. He seems to have lots of unwritten rules about things.
The best thing you can do, honestly, is to stop playing on GT servers and try to get others to stop playing on GT servers. :\

seems incredibly naive to not notice that the only screenshots posted barely contain any text from "lovers". maybe i'm wrong, but i'm leaning towards the thought that "lovers" ran his mouth quite a bit before each kick. from all i've seen, he's another one of those "starved for attention kids". he's annoyed the excrement outta me plenty of times in pubs, so i cant blame loial one bit for this booting this seemingly innocent young gent.

Yep it looks like I am mistaken. Arizona's Timezone is one hour earlier than Dallas's which would mean, according to the logs, you were kicked from the server FIRST then a few minutes later went to the IRC channel to explode in rage and anger... Justified er NOT, I'm unsure so now would be a good time for Loial to chime in with an explanation of why he kicked you from the server that evening.
To your defense, I viewed the server logs for anything that warranted a kick and found absolutely nothing. HOWEVER, the kick could be for something in the past and until Loial explains this incident I have no way of knowing what his reason was.
When I'm wrong I call it so My bad coLa, Sorry dude....
