Title: Speed Hack
Post by: pif on July 02, 2007, 12:11:55 PM: well , i've the demo of a speedhacker on chase cam , i've take this video the 1/07/2007 between 16H50 and 17H20 but i have totally forget the server :-\, so what can i do ?

Sounds like it's too vague to act on, hold on to the demo though, we may need it as evidence for a later ban. Next time you should report immediately and try to get as much info as possible, thanks for trying!

But server admins can. Post the name and demo if it's concrete.

Don't know. He needs to get his name registered. I'm really tempted to start banning each and every ip I find associated with a name that was caught cheating. I don't really have time to sit around and identify the player each time a cheat is reported. People need to register if they want to protect their name.

Ok, I think I figured out who it was: 213.180.63.18 = gw.mh2net.net, as I believe y00tz linked (but the topic was merged).

Some days ago, I started to log IP's of people coming to our webpages (http://www.czech-soldiers.wz.cz (http://www.czech-soldiers.wz.cz)) and with help of our Guestbook giving names to the IP's and this IP is Rook's, he was catched hacking too and banned
