I cant find servers in the server browser, no matter how many times I restart or update the list.
Any ideas?
-
That's very strange, not sure why thats happening to you. How about a detailed run down of your computer... Cpu/Os/Connectiontype and everything else.

I had the same problem at school, i figured it was something with the network there. Does refreshing servers require some port to be open?
-
Ok, here's what I'm running:
AMD 2400+ 2.0GHZ
256 MB DDR 266 Ram
GeForce 2 MX400
40 Gig HD, 15 Gig HD
Connecting to the internet via DSL connection (D-Link model, SMC Router).
Now, Its worked fine for MONTHS, and then two days ago just stops. Pissed me right off.
Any ideas?
*note, there is no difference if I connect directly to the modem or via the router.

Updating the server list just downloads http://www.planetquake.com/digitalpaint/servers.txt on port 80 via TCP using http 1.0 (in other words, just like downloading a web page). Open up paintballl2/pball/configs/config.cfg and see what serverlist_source is on there. It should be "www.planetquake.com/digitalpaint/servers.txt."

yea that fixed ot ;D
thanks jit!
-
What was it before?
-
www.planetquake.com
it seems to have reverted back to that AGAIN
-
Hm. Thanks for the info -- I'll see if I can figure out what it's doing wrong, heh.
-
yea, everytime I change the config it goes back to 'http::' once I've loaded the game.
-
happened to me too
-
Ruffryder, do you have a long blank signature or something? All of your messages leave 2 screenfulls of blank space after them for some reason.
-
and that pic sucks
-
dude i have 008 and it does the same thing and it is realy annoying to try connecting to every server obluivious to how mnay poeple are there or what map.... you guys need to make a new build to fix this because its happening to all my frineds too.. only the 006 seems to work properly and my comp worked with it up intil now like he said.
-
Yeah, it breaks when it fails to connect to planetquake.com. I have it fixed for the next build. Maybe I should go ahead and put that out.
