can someone point me to a guide (or tell me if it's short enough) for recording demos, and how to use the language filter?  I haven't been able to find anything so far on the site, and yes, I did look for  little while. (I may just be stupid)

ok that sounds pretty easy; thanks for your time.

Too bad about the filter...
It would be cool to have a customizeable filter that would take out any words from the pre-set list and replace them with your pre-set substitutes.  That would be mad funny for the guys that repeat the same phrase over and over. (even if I'm the only one seeing it - having the server change the wording for all players would be the next step I guess)

I believe that swear_filter has to be set to 1, server-side, in order to work.  That is unless it was disabled..

ok one more:

I heard a few references to a crosshair making guide...
I haven't found it yet, is it still accessable?
