Title: Time Discrepancy

Was trying to add some bots when I was browsing through pbcup_renoir. Logs from my condump:

]addbot
Server is full, increase Maxclients.

prodigy kicked for time discrepancy.

Any idea why it's doing this?

Delete all your cheats and try it again.

It's caused by lag.

Maybe his computer is really slow. Or, he's playing in Software render mode.

I was going to make a new post about a request about time discrepency, but I found out there was already a topic with that name, so sorry for "reviving" this. 

Anyways could you please take out time discrepency?  I get kicked from servers all the time for it, and no I am not speedhacking.  It would be nice if you could find some way to detect speedhackers without kicking people who lag.  I talked with Loial and he said he had already talked to Jitspoe about it and it was just a simple error in the coding or something.  So will it be fixed for the next build?  I can't say how many times I've been kicked from a match because of time discrepency and sometimes with very bad timing.

It's more than a simple error in the coding.  The effect of lag and speed cheats is about the same.  The total time doesn't add up right.  Whether that's because packets were lost or because the timestamps on the packets were faked, it's not easy to tell.  There's already a setting for this, so you could ask the server admins to increase the tolerance (set sv_enforcetime to a higher value) or disable it completely (set sv_enforcetime 0).

I live in the west coast. i rarely rarely get kicked for time discrepancy. i dont believe munchies gets kicked a lot and he lives near me.
