How do you connect to a paintball server?
Ingame serverlist: The serverlist, which you find in the game: ' PLAY -> Join Game '.
Paintball serverbrowser: The serverbrowser which comes with the game (serverbrowser.exe file). You can find it in the same directory like the paintball2.exe file.
Another serverbrowser: Another program like 'HLSW', 'Xfire' or 'The All-Seeing Eye' to see the servers.
Manual / per connect command: If you know the ip (or url) and port from a server, you can connect to it manually. The command is 'connect serverip:port' or 'connect serverurl:port'. Our public server for example: 'connect 83.169.4.183:12345' or 'connect otb-server.de:12345'.
Per Alias / Bind: If you made an alias, you only need to type one word into the console and the game will connect to the server. For example: ' alias pub "connect otb-server.de:12345" ' (to connect to the [OTB] Public server only with the word 'pub').

Remember - all newbies or just new players connect to servers only in-game. "It's normal when i want download game, install it, run and connect to servers with ingame serverlist. For all multiplayer games this is normal."
-
That's true, but here are new and old players. So it is interesting to know, which method they prefer.

"Paintball serverbrowser" & "Per Alias / Bind" :D

When ingame serverlist will be tweaked then all players (old and new) run game from game ;)
In my opinion Paintball 2 need "new" serverlist ingame. With new columns and sorting [name/ping/players/map/mode/locked] like ANY other multiplayer game ;) Give high priority for this feature!
Unfortunately this feature (http://dplogin.com/dplogin/featurevote/feature.php?id=10041) is "Added: 2008-01-06" to feature vote system (http://dplogin.com/dplogin/featurevote/), but.. still nothing :(

"Ingame serverlist" or sometimes "Paintball serverbrowser"

Separate exe is obviously a lot better as browser, but I tend to forget about it.
Obviously this kind of functionality should be in game.
