Title: Cannot Start Paintball 2
Post by: Quadratomic on November 19, 2010, 10:06:58 PM: Whenever I start up Paintball 2 it just sits there with a black screen forever. I used to get the OpenGL errors up until I updated my drivers, but now I have this issue. I've done some searching throughout the forums but nothing has helped resolve my problem.

Any ideas on what could help clear this up?

I'm using Windows XP SP3, by the way.

Post by: Bono on November 21, 2010, 04:24:36 AM: For this graphic card try install older drivers. Here: http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/GRAPHICS-BOARD/NVIDIA/nVidia-Detonator-5682-WHQL.shtml

1. Unistall all nVidia graphics drivers.
2. Clean your PC with "driver sweeper" program (select nVidia - Display filter)
3. Reboot your PC
4. Don't Instal any drivers from windows popups after system reboot
5. Install drivers from link
6. Reboot PC
7. Run DP2 ;)

Linux is not better for games...

Linux aren't games OS, could be but editors don't want it right now, I agree that's a shame, but that's it (that's the main reason why I don't wanna install Linux on my computer)
