No love for polished up classics, huh?  Palmer stuff is insanely expensive, but I've heard it's amazing.  I've probably spent at least that much in paint alone over the past year or two, so it's not an obscene amount, relatively speaking.  Paintball is an expensive hobby.  I would love to see people's expressions if I walked onto the field with that.  I doubt most of them even have even heard of a kp-3.  I don't know that those expressions are worth $900, though...

Lol an autococker? I remember back in the day when the flatline came out, it was wild playing against the other guns at the time. (being on the other end of the barrel and the one shooting)  Our field was a woods field with a speedball in the middle. It was common for everyone to play within the speedball area, except for whoever had the flatline at the time, they would sit in the back of the woods and pick people off. Whenever someone tried to shoot all the way to them, the paintballs would just bounce off the flatline shooters feet. Pretty funny stuff back in the day.

I originally voted for the wallet option, but the more I look at it, the more I consider it a good investment.

In the worst case scenario you use it twice, your friends freak out, you get bored of it, find the next paintballfreak to buy it for the same price: PROFIT

You could always resell it.

I personally wouldn't waste $900 on a trophy piece though.
