Title: [Feature] Server name moves across if too long
Post by: Kyuuchi on November 14, 2009, 08:30:17 AM
Don't know if thats a suitable topic name or not.. but anyway

If a servers hostname is too long, for example eR33t's servers, then when you hover over that server, the rest of the server moves across.

I hope you know what I mean.. I'm trying to find some examples..

Do you mean because if you do not connect to it, it's trial and error to click on the right server? Since you see: eR33t-gaming -- Ma  on the serverlist so you never know which match it is, so if you hover over it it'll show: eR33t-gaming -- Match 1 ?

good idea, and I think it wouldn't be even that hard to solve this problem.

Server Browser is your friend.  Its a good idea for the newbies though that have no idea about the Server Browser :P.

I think that might be kind of lumped up with this: http://dplogin.com/dplogin/featurevote/feature.php?id=10041 and this: http://dplogin.com/dplogin/featurevote/feature.php?id=10040

If the server browser has proper multi-column widgets, it could be resized to fit the server name.  After that gets implemented, we'll see if this is still necessary.
