Title: How do I do a screenshot from the desktop?

i am wondering how i take a screen shot of the server box the black one i know it isnt f12 so what could it be?

alt+ print screen with copy the active window to the clip board.  From there you can paste it in to paint.

If you do a ctrl-print screen, it will take a screenie of your entire desktop and copy it to the clip board.

i just use print screen and ctrl+v into paint,
