Title: Is There Anyway To use Voip free?
Post by: ExtremeGamer321 on April 09, 2008, 12:58:52 PM: I think I have this thread in the right place. If not please move it, I really don't mean to do it on purpose.

I've been thinking a voip for my clan would be nice but Ventrilo and Teamspeak servers cost money and to run one your computer isn't any good (for me anyways) and the free ones are most likely illegal. The last thing I need is the cops or fbi showing up at my door, "Sir, you are under arrest." No thank you. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a voip server that is free to use, and is LEGAL.

Well, if you just ask jitspoe he might create you a channel in the dplogin.com:3784 server. It runs on Vent 2.1. Quite a few clans have channels there.

edit: and i doubt that the free teamspeak or vent servers are illegal.

Edit: is Vent 2.1.4 the same as 2.1? Will it work the same?
