Ah, ok.  It's a really neat premise.  I like a lot of the time altering effects, for example, in multiplayer, throwing a grenade, slowing down the time around it, then letting people run into it.  And in single player, you can fire bullets, stop time around them, wait for enemies to walk up, then unfreeze it.  Might as well pick it up on PC for $x

edit:
lol, here's the first review for that Gamecube:

5.0 out of 5 stars  Gamecube: An Honest and Qualified Breakdown, June 3, 2003

"HARDWARE:
The first somewhat obvious advantage of the Gamecube is it's sheer processing power. The hardware architectural scheme is simply unparalleled when compared to the likes of the PS2 and Xbox. With the help of hardware development giants like IBM, NEC and ATI, Nintendo was able to assemble a very powerful machine that is cost effective and easy to code for."

heh,

"SOFTWARE:
This is where the debate can truly get ugly. I'll be forthright, Nintendo's Gamecube has hands-down the best and most diverse software catalogue among all three next-gen platforms. First and foremost, when considering this statement you've got to look at console-specific games. Sure, the PS2 may have a ridiculous slew of games over both Xbox and Gamecube, but consider the fact that you can attribute this to PS2's earlier launch."

Wow, all the reviews reak of fanboyism

Shadowrun is the most incredible, fun, awesome, playable, interesting, good-looking game I've ever played-- but no one actually PLAYS it because it's Vista-only.

I am angry. One of the best games ever, in my opinion, gone to waste because MS can't stand to have people not buy their latest OS. 7 had better be good.

Nice - grabbed Pure.  I imagine it's worth $10 (after shipping).  Fry's had Dirt for $15, so I'll have a couple racing games to motivate me to use my controller to get some exercise. ;)

There should be a bunch of stuff on sale for this "Cyber Monday" thing.  I don't know any offhand, but sites like http://www.gottadeal.com/ should have a bunch of them listed.

Edit: GoGamer has a lot of good deals: http://www.gogamer.com/Black-Friday-Deals_stcVVcatId544567VVviewcat.htm

Really? Good stuff. We (friends and I) have enough expertise and gear to hold off against just about anything. lol We love to hit the range and act retarded. It is great stress relief. Does that Ak you have still use 7,62x39? If so let me know if you need ammo. Looking for a bulk buying partner. But I might just get set up to reload em myself. I also got one of these that I carry everywhere. The cost on that after my LEO discount was about $325 for the whole 45 package. 2 mags, holster, ammo holster, speed loader, case and gun lock.

The AK uses 7.32x39 and I have a few k rounds for it.  I typically get ammo from ammo man, dirt cheap, or CDNN.

I liked that XD in 45.  I'm looking for a double stack 45 for my next pistol.  Right now I carry a Glock 23 (40 cal)

This brings up a great point about amazon.

When I order stuff from them and don't need it right away, shipping is usually free. Since Amazon does not have a presence in Texas, I don't pay taxes either. For me, Amazon is a great deal.  Even comparing games that I needed to purchase for xmas, they were the same price, if not a little cheaper than local.  Once you figure tax in, Amazon is the way to go.

Yeah, I've seen that.  At least it's just a firmaware issue and you don't actually lose data.  I wouldn't use this as a system drive, but it's great for games/data storage/etc.  I have one and haven't had any issues with it yet.

This isn't a deal per se, but I noticed when subbing to Edge, you can get a year for $75 by using this link:
http://www.imsnews.com/home.php?page=magPage&pubid=92

Which is the direct link from IMS, but you can get a year for slightly cheaper using this link:

Just a little tip for anyone needing to re-sub.
