Title: Possible Feature?

I thought of an idea for the website as well as for the game. Have some of the creators make and setup Servers for active clans within Paintball 2. Oh and maybe some better directions for buliding a server, or a server building program that can be seen by other players when setup.

Clans that want their own server can pay for one. A server-set-up utility would help a bit, but the people coming to the forums with basic issues seem to have absolutely no clue what they're doing, so I doubt it'd help much.

And 90% of the time we help them get it working anyway

It would be useful and not much work though.  You could make a program that has all the server info as fill in boxes and when it saves, it outputs into the correct folder and what not.  Jitspoe wouldn't even need to do it, because we have so many skilled people that are active on these forums.

I was planning on putting together a little program to do just that.  But then my laptop died and I needed a new hard drive...

I know that you guys have families and what not, but I found an old topic with the little batch written DP map luncher that I think Eiii wrote and I think that this little server setup utility falls in the same boat.  Not needed but will make life a lot easier and more simpler.  I in no way meant to degrade any of you guys.

ViciouZ did some work on a tool that makes installing a bunch of addons easier.  And I've heard of some more fancy features that are on the way.
