Title: I Started A Server

I started a server, and im pretty sure its up and running,but i have a few questions...

1.)How do i make it so my own grenade cant eliminate my teamates/myself?

2.)I only want 8 set as the max people that can be in my game. Its at 12 though, how do i change it?

1.) Edit the server.cfg:
     Change: set grenadeffire 1 to set grenadeffire 0
2.) Restart the server and add: +set maxclients 8 to your commmandline.

There's other ways but I know this will work too.

I followed all of the instructions on making a server, and i set everything up, but people tell me that they cant see it on the server list..

It needs to report to the serverlists. If you have access to the console then you should see "Sending heartbeat: http://dpballcom/serverlist.php"  If it's getting through it will say "Success".
  The first heartbeat probably has isn't sucessful because the serverlist address changed.  You can set it by typing "set serverlist1 http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~digitalpaint/serverlist.php" in the console.
  I also saw it on AllSeeingEye but now I don't. I don't personnally use the built-in serverlist very often.

Well i think i cant make one cause i have wireless internet :/

I remember when i used to play a while back, there was a clan that had a website that made youre own private match server.. does this still exist?

Even if you got it working, wireless would make a terrible server.

I started a server also and i have the same problem i cant get my server on the server list i tryed the "set server1... exc" and it sayed "line unmatched quote, discarded" what does this mean?  ???

Unmatched quote means you have a quote on one side, but not the other.  You shouldn't need to use quotes.

Check http://dpball.com/serverlist.php -- is your IP on the list?

Did you follow this guide: http://www.planetquake.com/digitalpaint/docs/server_guide_win32.html ?  It should say "Sending heartbeat to http://dpball.com/serverlist.php..." etc.  If not, you did something wrong (most likely didn't put the +set public 1 in before the +map).

yah now my ip is on the server list... now running build 14.. but i am still behid a firewall do i gotta shut that down or should it still work?  ??? >:(

You will have to open the port you're running the server on (default is 27910) for UDP traffic.
